Assisted living can be defined in many ways, but perhaps the easiest is by describing what it is not. It is not skilled nursing, which is the highest form of care, nor is it independent living, the lowest level of support. Included within the primary services is around-the-clock care for certain activities of daily living.

We pride ourselves on our approach to personalized care. No two residents’ needs are the same, so we offer a vast array of services to ensure every senior receives the care they need.

Residents must be able to negotiate their own pathway to safety in the event of an emergency. Assisted living is not staffed as highly as skilled nursing, and residents must know where the exits are and how to get to them. This process is discussed and planned with each resident on a regular basis to ensure safety.

We are happy to announce that we are broadening our range of services through the creation of an assisted living facility within our campus, the Abbey Cottages, opening in April 2023.

The Cottage is a 10-bed assisted living facility for those who need supportive services while still maintaining independence.
