Information Update

January 4, 2022

To all of our Abbey Families and Friends.

The county has recently experienced a significant increase in COVID cases, and, while small in number, our community has not been spared.

Consistent with the Federal Guidelines, effective January 4, the Second and Third floors will be Quarantined.  This involves the following:

  • Quarantine will last approximately seven days, which would be January 11 for both floors at this point.
  • Residents will be tested at various points during this period.
  • Residents will be confined to their rooms and not be able to leave the floor but will be able to attend therapy and participate in meals in the dining room.
  • Residents and visitors who are both vaccinated will be able to continue visits on the floor.  Normal screening will occur, not more than two visitors in a resident room at any one time with all parties wearing masks.
  • Any residents and/or visitors who are not vaccinated will be required to delay visits with Second and Third Floor residents until the quarantine is lifted.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are all committed to the health and safety of our residents and to minimize more exposure risk.

Thank you.
